What is the closest airport to Puerto Peñasco?
There are two main options for flying, depending on whether you prefer a commercial flight or a private/charter experience:
- Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX): Located about 3.5 to 4 hours away. This is the most common choice for international travelers. From here, you can rent a car or take a shuttle.
- Mar de Cortés International Airport (PPE): This airport is located just 15 minutes from the hotel zone. Currently, it mainly serves private flights and some seasonal charters. Always check for new commercial routes from Tijuana or Hermosillo.
